The difference between benign and malignant tumors: benign and malignant biological characteristics significantly different effects on the body and therefore also different. Distinction between benign and malignant tumors for diagnosis and treatment of great significance.
(1) cell differentiation: benign well-differentiated, atypia is small, similar to the original form of the organization; malignant tumor differentiation is not good, atypia large difference between the original form of the organization great.
(2) mitosis such as: benign, as no or rare mitosis, but no pathological mitoses; malignant tumor mitotic more common, and can be seen as pathological mitosis.
(3) the growth rate: benign and slow; cancer faster.
(4) growth pattern: more common benign inflation and exogenous growth, the former often capsule formation, with clear delineation of the surrounding tissue in general, it can normally be driven; malignant tumor infiltrating and exogenous growth, the former no capsule formation, and the general boundaries of the surrounding tissue is not clear, it usually can not be promoted, which is associated with invasive growth.
